The kitchen is the heart of the home. We all know the goodies that come from the kitchen. In the heart of the kitchen is the refrigerator. The refrigerator keeps the food fresh and safe for eating at a later time. What does it take to keep a fresh- smelling and clean-looking refrigerator?
While it is easy to clean a fridge from the outside, cleaning on the inside may be a difficult task. Here is how to clean the inside of a refrigerator.
Firstly, switch it off and remove all the food items and the shelves. Throw out any food that has reached its expiration date or unused food items for the last six months. Set the bins and the shelves aside too.
Use your favorite all-purpose cleaner to spray the inside. For any stubborn stains, use baking soda. Use an old toothbrush to scrub off any stains or spills. Start from top to bottom. Use a damp cloth to wipe off any remains of the cleaning product.
Wipe all the items as they make their way back to the fridge. Clean the jars and packaged food items. Use a piece of cloth and hot water.
Return the shelves and place the food items in place. Use a fresh paper towel for the vegetable section.
To keep the odor off, use baking soda or a piece of charcoal. Fresh coffee beans will work too.
